Thank you so much for all the hardwork you put into making the camp amazing. I had such a great time, and I learned a lot. You all made it fun and exciting, and I'm really thankful for everything. Thank you Mrs. Herndon for inviting me back for a second year. I'm so glad I got to be a part of it again.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn about and better understand common tools, blueprints, and mechanics. I am very grateful for the learning experience that you have offered us. I like how you gave us the freedom towards our learning and that you let us experiment with our projects to learn from it. I look forward to doing this next year.

Thank you for all your help in the past week not only teaching us about tools and how to build things, but also teaching us important life lessons including how to be a better person and gentleman. I appreciate all of your hard work keeping this camp fun and eventful as well as free. I just wanted you to know that you and all the other volunteers have taught us so much and kept us wanting to stay later and come back everyday.

My son attended the camp this summer and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. Throughout the week he was introduced to a wide variety of hands on skills and projects that kept him excited and engaged every day. He was given a measuring tape and taught how to properly use it, working with fractions and following plans to measure, cut, sand, and stain and build a large wooden toolbox that he proudly brought home.
The camp also gave him opportunities to work with metal fabrication, learn about small engines and even practice valuable life skills like changing the oil and a tire on a car. He really enjoyed being able to work with his hands and learn by doing.
This camp gave my son confidence, practical skills, and a deeper interest in engineering and hands on work. He is already talking about how much he would love to attend again next year.
A huge thank you to all who gave their time and expertise to teach and inspire the kids who attended. Your dedication made this camp a truly unforgettable experience!

My son has gone to the engineering camp the past two summers, and he absolutely loved it. Everything was so hands on which made it fun and exciting for him. I was blown away by how much he came home knowing- he learned cooking skills, how to read a measuring tape, and even how to change a tire! I'm so thankful he had he chance to be part of such a great experience. Thank you to everyone who made this camp possible.

Life lessons presented at camp I hope are retained by students to help build confidence and self esteem as they begin to think about the path to their future.
1.) Mistakes will be made but want to emphasize the importance of learning from your mistakes. Hopefully each time you accomplish the learned task the results get better each time until it can be done with zero defects.
2.) I like to emphasize the importance of staying fully engaged in the search for the solution to a problem regardelss of knowledge or expereince. You may say or see something that a more expereinced technician has missed. Don;t be afraid to speak up....YOU may just end up being the one to find the solution or put the team on the right track to the solution even though you were the least experienced. Its a real good feeling when that happens, one you don't forget and the team won't forget you contribution either.
